Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner
Dr. Ji is the co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of All-Stars Investment. He was a Managing Director and the Asia- Pacific Head of Internet/media investment research at Morgan Stanley. He was highly ranked by the Institutional Investor (II) and Greenwich Associates polls and was awarded “The Best Investment Bank Analyst for New Economy” by iResearch. He was rated as “the No. 1 stock picker in software and services” in pan-Asia and Greater China regions by Financial Times and South China Morning Post. He was also voted as the First Team (Asia) by Asiamoney and Absolute Return & Alpha magazines. He has participated in the IPOs of over a dozen companies, including Alibaba.com, Tencent, Dangdang, Perfect World, Shanda, RenRen, Xueersi (TAL Group), YY.com, Phoenix New Media and MakeMyTrip.
Richard received his Doctor of Sciences degree from Harvard University and an MBA degree from Wharton Business School, where he was on the Director's List for academic excellence. He also received his B.S. degree from Fudan University.
Mr. Fu is the co-founder and Managing Partner of All-Stars Investment. He was a Managing Director and the Asia-Pacific Co-Head of the Private Wealth Management business at Morgan Stanley. During his 21-year-tenure at Morgan Stanley, he was a pioneer of the offshore China wealth management business and established extensive relations among successful Chinese entrepreneurs. He served as a member of Morgan Stanley’s China Management Committee, Asia Private Wealth Management Committee, and International Wealth Management Committee.
Mingxia holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from Princeton University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Chief Financial Officer, Co-Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Leung is the Chief Financial Officer and Co-Chief Operating Officer of All-Stars Investment. She was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, where she served as the Alternate Chief Executive, Hong Kong Chief Operating Officer and Branch Manager of the Private Wealth Management (PWM) business, with a team of 90+ professionals under her supervision. Prior to working at Private Wealth Management, she worked in the finance team of Morgan Stanley Asia for 13 years supporting institutional business.
Cathy received her B.A. degree in Accountancy, with Honors, from City University of Hong Kong and is a member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Co-Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Woo is the Co-Chief Operating Officer of All-Stars Investment. Esther has over 15 years in financial derivatives and risk management. She has most recently served as the Head of Risk Management for the Private Wealth Management (PWM) business in Asia at Morgan Stanley. Prior to that, she had been a Risk Manager at Tudor Capital Europe, a top-tier multi-billion dollar US hedge fund, and had also worked at Goldman Sachs' and JP Morgan's derivatives division in London.
Esther received her B.A. degree in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley and also holds a M.S. degree in Computer Science from Columbia University.
Mr. Chan is an Executive Director at All-Stars Investment. Prior to joining All-Stars, he was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley (Asia), with seven years of equity research experience covering China Internet sector at Morgan Stanley and CLSA, where his team was consistently recognized by Institutional Investor, Greenwich Associates and Asiamoney. He was involved in the public listing of some leading Chinese online companies, including YY.com, 58.com and Cheetah Mobile. Timothy began his career as an accountant with PwC and Deloitte.
He received his double Bachelor degrees in business and laws from The University of Hong Kong, and an MBA degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is a CFA Charterholder, and a Chartered Accountant in England & Wales and in Hong Kong.
Ms. Chung is an Executive Director at All-Stars Investment. Prior to joining All-Stars Investment, she worked at Morgan Stanley as an equity research analyst in the China Internet and media team, which was consistently recognized by Institutional Investor, Greenwich Associates and Asiamoney. She was involved in the public listing of some Chinese Internet leaders, such as Dangdang, Renren, Phoenix New Media and YY Inc. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Gillian worked at Newedge as an internal auditor, leading projects across Asia and in London to help management solve organizational issues. She was an Assistant Manager at KPMG.
Gillian received her Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of British Columbia and is a member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Lui is an Executive Director at All-Stars Investment. He was a Vice President and the sector lead analyst for the Hong Kong/China Consumer Discretionary research team at Morgan Stanley (Asia), where his team was consistently ranked highly by Institutional Investor. Edward has over 10 years of experience in equity research at Morgan Stanley and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was involved in the public listing of various Chinese consumer leaders, such as Crystal International, Hosa and Yashili. Prior to that, Edward was an investment banking analyst at UBS and was involved in the execution of IPOs, follow-on offerings, M&A and rating advisory.
Edward received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with Distinction, from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
